The goodwill impairment test is performed at a reporting unit level. A reporting unit is an operating segment of a business or one level below an operating segment. During the fourth quarter of 2025, we completed certain organizational reporting changes which resulted in a realignment and re-aggregation of reporting units in both the Financial Services and Benefits and Insurance Services practice groups. These organizational reporting changes resulted in new reporting units that align the internal reporting structure with the services provided by these practice groups. The organizational changes did not result in a change in the reportable segments, nor did they result in a change of the total number of reporting units for goodwill impairment test purposes. As of October 31, 2025, immediately after the organizational changes, there are a total of six reporting units, of which three are within the Financial Services practice group, two are within the Benefits and Insurances practice group, and one is within the National Practice group.
