Loans receivable that management has the intent and ability to hold for the foreseeable future or until maturity or payoff are reported at unpaid principal balances, net of deferred loan origination fees and costs, purchase discounts and premiums, purchase accounting fair value adjustments and the allowance for credit losses. Interest income is accrued on the unpaid principal balance. Certain direct loan origination costs, net of loan origination fees, are deferred and amortized, using the level-yield method, as an adjustment of yield over the contractual lives of the related loans. Unearned premiums and discounts are amortized or accreted utilizing the level-yield method over the contractual lives of the related loans. Accrued interest receivable on loans totaled $21.1 million and $20.5 million at June 30, 2025 and 2024, respectively, and is excluded from the estimate of expected credit losses.
